The turning phase for the production of rolling bearings has a decisive relevance, in fact, if correctly performed, it allows to reduce the costs of subsequent processing. In some cases, by performing a proper evaluation of the heat treatment deformations (also through specimen tests), it is possible to eliminate the usual oversizes.
